One On One Voice-Over Coaching
One-On-One Voice-Over coaching is suitable for:
• Stage actors who are curious about getting into voice over
• Voice actors who aren’t booking the jobs they think they should be getting
• People who are curious about voice over want instruction, but their schedules don’t permit them to take group classes
• Students who are curious about getting into voice-over but can’t afford a four-week class
Some of the services available:
• Intro to voice over: suitable for beginners who have promise, but don’t know where to begin. Also advised before talent spends money on a demo, or thousands of dollars building a home studio. Start here first.
• One-hour tune-up: suitable for professionals who need a little help with auditions and sessions
• Creating characters for voices and games– suitable for mid-level to profession talent. Lessons involve: placement, inventing characters and how to pace yourself during stressful sessions involving combat dialogue and/or screaming.
• The Non-Announcer Read: What is it and how to do it.
• Demo ready? You want to get a demo, then an agent and start working. mid-level to professional. How’s your material? Do you have an engineer that you trust? Perhaps you need a professional to tell you whether you’re really, “demo ready”.
Student prerequisites: Mid-level voice talent, or someone with some acting experience. Folks who are curious and beginners are great too, as long as they have some experience reading text, while taking direction.

$ 200 an hour full price for instruction with a studio-scripts provided by instructor

Q: Will I walk out with a finished demo after this course?
A: No. But you’ll walk out with raw tracks/recordings of your reads in class, which you can use on your demo if they’re up to industry standards.
Q: Will the course cover doing voices for gaming, books on tape, and/or commercials?
A: Yes. Yes. Yes. We revisit the fundamentals, which cover all genres, then delve deeper into changes in the business and how they affect your read.
Q: What sorts of changes in the industry will we cover?
A: For instance, the phrase you hear over and over again is “We want a non-announcer read”. Through our research and interviews, we found numerous definitions about what this means. We’ll clear up the mystery behind this phrase and give you tips on how to acheive this read in your work and auditions.
Q: Where are classes held?
A: For one on one coaching our portable equipment can be brought anywhere. Larger groups are taught in a professional studio.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Mr. Scully has worked in movies, television, radio and the gaming industry professionally for 15+ years.
In the world of voice-over Mr. Scully’s past clients have included: Ford, GMC, Homeaway.com, McDonalds, Microsoft, Macy’s, Nike, Play station, Taco Bell, The Seahawks, Seattle Opera, YMCA, and as the national spokesman for Voicestream (now T-Mobile) for three years.
